Yesterday, in an article entitled ‘Reform suspends branch chairman – for reporting concerns to police’, we wrote that the election agent for Reform UK in the recent elections to Exeter City Council was Mr Robert Sheridan, a barrister and husband of former UKIP and Brexit Party activist Alison Sheridan. Mrs Sheridan is now a Conservative councillor.
It has been pointed out to us that the Robert Sheridan who acted as Reform UK’s agent is not the same person. We are sorry for any confusion caused and we are happy to set the record straight.
The article has been amended accordingly.
