“Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me…”
Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, aka Tommy Robinson, is losing it. He’s just posted a wild “plea to the British public” from his 5-star Cyprus hotel. It’s a rant.
“You can see they’re coming for me.
“I know they’re coming for me.
“They want to lock me up…”
Eyes wide, veins bulging, he shows every sign of having er, artificially energised himself before the broadcast. And this time he’s careful to film himself against a neutral background. He’s probably sussed that the poolside sun lounger isn’t playing too well back home.
But he’s right. They are coming for him. And hopefully he will be locked up. And hopefully for a very long time. It will be no more than he deserves. More than most, he and his mate Danny Tommo are responsible for racist gangs turning out and causing mayhem and grief across the country.
While the DPP isn’t being specific about individuals, he is saying: “Some people are abroad. That doesn’t mean they’re safe.
“We have liaison prosecutors around the globe, who’ve got local links with the local judiciary. We can cooperate with our international partners.
“We would certainly consider extradition if we are satisfied that an offence has been committed. They must know that they are not safe and there is nowhere to hide.”
Recent spurious, disingenuous posts from Yaxley-Lennon’s sunbed where he called for calm, will change nothing. Issued only when he realised he was in potentially deep legal trouble, they will never erase all the previous hate filled, anti-Muslim tirades which have stoked the flames over months and years.
In the meantime, enjoy the fact that Yaxley-Lennon is soiling himself.
