Many people applaud the contribution made by those that came from the Caribbean to rebuild the UK’s economy, social fabric and our communities after the second world war. But in the scramble to herald the Windrush arrival as a landmark moment in the emergence of a multicultural Britain the racist attitudes that greeted many of the passengers, and that echo through the decades, have often been ignored.
Join us to celebrate the Windrush generation, 75 years on and continuing the fight for justice.
Speakers include

- Zita Holbourne, AUE and PCS,
