The two right-wing activists arrested in France for their part in the weekend’s anti-migrant event are Reece Grant and a friend of his from Devon. Their family and friends are accusing Danny Tommo of abandoning them.
French police announced on Sunday night that two men, aged 35 and 53 had been detained while broadcasting live videos from the French coast that allegedly contained discriminatory remarks and suggested their involvement in Danny Tommo’s ‘Operation Overlord’.
They were taken into custody near the northern town of Calais on Sunday evening. No names were released.
Self-styled auditor
We have established, however, that they are the Exeter-based self-styled ‘auditor’ Reece Grant and a companion. Both are still in custody and relatives are struggling to contact them or obtain any information about what is happening to them.
Amongst his family and friends there seems to be considerable anger building up towards Danny Tommo who is refusing to respond to calls for help. Grant’s family believe that, after calling on them and other activists to travel to France on Saturday for an anti-migrant event, Tommo has now has abandoned them
More information as we receive it.
