Far‑right activist Stephen Yaxley‑Lennon, known as Tommy Robinson, has announced on X that he has “left the country”, after a police warning of an ISIS threat against him.
He is saying he needed time to “work things out” for the safety of himself and his family and suggested they may have to relocate.
Robinson was contacted two days ago by Bedfordshire police who advised him that an ISIS-supporting magazine “is encouraging others to commit violence against yourself”. Robinson has posted online a recording of his conversation with the police.
The obscure magazine appears to be based in Khorasan Province of India and is published by a regional affiliate of ISIS.
Inevitably Robinson has flammed this up: he claims he is now a “priority target” of Isis. Those words were not used in the police warning. There has been no independent confirmation of any credible threat.
Nevertheless Robinson’s announcement comes at a convenient moment as he faces ongoing legal and financial pressures, including bailiffs chasing him for £103,000 he owes arising from his prosecution for contempt of court two years ago.

And, needless to say, his announcement is accompanied by a plea for cash: please help pay for Tommy to resettle his family and for security costs.
Leopards, spots etc…
