The Tommy Robinson fanboys who make up the far-right, self-styled Voice of Wales are holding a public event in south Wales this Saturday with a dazzling array of fruitbats and convicted crooks on the platform.
VoW is run by two UKIP activists, who double up as wannabee mates of Tommy Robinson.
One, Stan Robinson (no relation) is a veteran right-wing activist who boasts of being involved in the Freedom Association’s Operation Pony Express, a union-busting operation in the late 1970s to break the strike of underpaid Asian women at the Grunwicks film processing labs in London. He is presently on the NEC of UKIP.
The other, Dan Morgan, is a convicted fraudster who should by rights be in jail. Two years ago he was convicted for being part of a sophisticated telephone-fraud operation which robbed hundreds of elderly and vulnerable people of their savings.
No-one was more surprised than him when he was only given a suspended prison sentence.
Both travelled to Spain to meet up with Tommy Robinson while he was on the run last year, and travelled back to the UK with him
On the platform they will be welcoming:
Richard Taylor: now the Welsh leader of Ben Habib’s Advance UK, but also a self-confessed former crook with dozens of convictions behind him for drug abuse, drunkenness, theft, burglary, stealing cars and violence.
Then he ‘found Jesus’ in prison. He left Reform UK last year over its failure to support Tommy Robinson.
Bishop Ceri Dewar: noisy supporter of UKIP. Not a bishop in any church you would immediately recognise, and the sole director of Ceirion H. Dewar Ministries Ltd. Describes himself, modestly, as “Bishop, Creator of CDTV, TV & News Contributor, Author & International Speaker”.
In 2012 he was sued by an old age pensioner who had loaned him £1000 to pay a motoring fine. She had to go to court to get the money returned.
Andrew Bridgen: the increasingly deranged and conspiracy-obsessed former Tory MP.
Catherine Blaiklock: Founder of the Brexit Party which she claims was stolen from her by Nigel Farage. Most recently connected with Robin Tilbrook’s English Democrats when they were funding election candidates for the neo-Nazi Patriotic Alternative.
David Atherton: Far-right online ‘journalist’ with a huge following. But has a penchant for making claims about opponents which they believe to be defamatory, and is now desperately trying to raise funds to defend two libel actions.
Their publicity is a bit coy about the venue: in fact the event will be held at the Coed Ely Constitutional Club in Tonyrefail where they have met before.
And a wonderful time will be had by all.
